• Student information: Your child's name, grade level, and Schoology login credentials (encrypted at rest).
• Course materials: Assignments, files, and links downloaded from your child's Schoology account.
• Study guides: AI-generated study materials created from course content.

How We Use Your Data

• To connect to Schoology and download your child's course materials.
• To generate personalized study guides using AI.
• To send email notifications with grade updates and study materials.

How We Protect Your Data

• All Schoology credentials are encrypted using industry-standard encryption before storage.
• Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
• We use secure HTTPS connections for all data transmission.
• Access to student data is restricted to the parent account that created it.

What We Don't Do

• We never sell your data or your child's data to third parties.
• We never share student information with advertisers.
• We do not use student data for any purpose other than generating study materials.

AI-Generated Content

Study guides are created using AI (Claude by Anthropic). Course materials are sent to the AI service for processing. The AI service does not retain or train on your child's data.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you would like your data deleted, please contact us and we will remove all account data, student records, and generated materials within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

Schoology Cloud is designed for use by parents and guardians. Student accounts are created and managed by a parent. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13.
